Sunday 14th April is Palm Sunday and the beginning of Holy Week.
We have special services every day.
On Sunday 14th our services are:
8am Holy Communion
9am Sung Holy Communion at Christ the King
10.30am The Liturgy of the Palms; starting in the churchyard the Palm Crosses are blessed and we process singing into church. Then follows the liturgy of the Passion centres around the telling of the story of the last few days of Jesus' life. We end with communion.
6.30pm Said Evening Prayer

There are evening services of Holy Communion on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday all at 7.30pm at St. Michael's.

On Thursday (Maundy Thursday) our service starts at 8pm. A sung Eucharist it includes the washing of feet and at the end of the seervice the stripping of the altars with a vigil for those who wish to come and go at various times until midnight.

Friday (Good Friday) sees the Last Hour of the Cross at 2pm.

Saturday (Easter Eve) has compline at 9pm - a very short service.

Easter Day begins with the First Mass of Easter at 7am with the lighting of the new fire, the bleswsing of the Easter Candle, the renewal of Baptismal Vows and Holy Communion. The service is followed by breakfast in the church hall.

We then have the usual 9am service at Christ the King, 10.30am service at St. michael's and said Evening Prayer at 6.30pm
