Altar servers assist the clergy throughout the service. Amongst the duties they fulfill is the carrying the cross and candles in processions, lighting and tending to the incense (when used) carrying the Book of the Gospels, ringing the sanctuary bell at certain points in the service and being on hand to assist in any other way as necessary.
These were our servers a few years ago but all have now finished having either moved away or retired. We now have a team of new servers whose picture we shall add soon.
